Delivery Policy

We know how important it is for you to receive your order on time. Getting you the finest of what we have to offer, in the best and the quickest way possible is our priority. Therefore, we have entrusted this task to one of the world’s foremost courier companies (DHL/FedEx).

Our tea is freshly plucked from our family owned tea gardens. Once plucked, it’s processed at our own tea factories and dispatched to reach your door step without the involvement of a middle man.

Our specialization and expertise in this process, enables us to provide the product to our shipping partner (DHL/FedEx) within a stipulated time frame; in order to ensure that the product reaches your door step on the desired date.

Orders within Sri Lanka.

Usually delivery in Sri Lanka is completed within 2-3 working days (excluding public holidays and weekends).

Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation email with complete order details and current status of the order.

Orders would arrive at the designated location anytime between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm. You have the option of providing your mobile number to our shipping agent to keep you informed before the parcel reaches its destination.

Your signature will be requested on receipt of your order.

If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, a note will be placed directing you how you could collect your parcel from the nearest location or rearrange delivery. Usually, you will be contacted before the delivery is made.

Public holidays are not considered as valid working days and therefore, if your delivery date falls on a public holiday, you could expect your order on the next working day.

International orders

International delivery/shipping charges are calculated automatically at the checkout page. The charges are calculated on the higher of gross weight or volume of the package and varies on the country of delivery. Estimated shipping time too will be mentioned based on the destination at the checkout.

Once the order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent to the e mail provided, completing all details of your order.

A tracking number will also be sent which would enable you to monitor the current status of your order at any given point of its journey once it’s dispatched from our factory.

Your product shipment will be handled by internationally trusted shipping agents DHL/FedEx/UPS; assuring you a safe and reliable delivery of your order. The agent assigned with the delivery of your order may at times be different to the agent selected at checkout. This change may occur due to faster shipping times accommodated by other available agents and shipping rules, restrictions and conditions prevailing at the time of shipment.

Halpé Tea exports products to all reachable locations around the world via our international shipping partner (DHL/FedEx). However, Halpé Tea will not take responsibility of additional charges, such as in case the foreign country governments impose taxes or duties to the purchased product upon arrival at the destination.

Please note that Halpé Tea could not be held liable for delays in delivery caused by such unlikely, yet probable (depending on the country) imposition of taxes or duty. Since custom policies vary widely, we recommend you to contact your local customs office for further information.

“In any case if we breech any of the promises or specifications contained herein ( except any reasons beyond our control which have been specified above ) , you shall be entitled to sue for recoveries in the relevant Court or Judiciary Body established within the Limits of Sri-Lanka under the provisions of the Act or Enactment in force“
